Our Commitment to Healthy Parrots

Each bird is hand-reared, socialized, and carefully observed to ensure normal growth, behavior, and overall wellbeing before being made available for sale.

We work diligently to ensure that every parrot leaves our care in good health and suitable condition for placement into a new home.

Veterinary Care & Health Checks

Before leaving our aviary, each parrot undergoes a general health assessment. This includes observation of appetite, activity level, feather condition, and overall physical appearance. Our parrots are raised using best practices recommended by avian professionals.

While every effort is made to ensure excellent health, birds are living animals and stress related to environmental changes, transportation, or adjustment to a new home can occur.

Health at the Time of Delivery or Pickup

We guarantee that all parrots are healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of pickup or delivery. Buyers are encouraged to carefully inspect their parrot upon arrival and to schedule a wellness examination with a qualified avian veterinarian shortly after receiving their bird.

We recommend arranging an initial veterinary check within 72 hours of delivery to establish ongoing care and provide peace of mind.

Buyer Responsibilities

Once a parrot leaves our care, the responsibility for its health, housing, diet, and veterinary care transfers to the buyer. Proper care includes:

• Providing a suitable cage and safe environment
• Offering a balanced diet appropriate for the species
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
• Scheduling routine veterinary checkups

Stress, improper diet, environmental changes, or lack of care can negatively impact a parrot’s health, and Bobbie Parrots for Sale cannot be held responsible for conditions arising after placement.

Limitations of the Health Guarantee

This Health Guarantee does not cover issues resulting from:

• Improper handling or care after purchase
• Environmental stress or relocation stress
• Failure to provide appropriate nutrition
• Accidental injury or neglect
• Normal behavioral or adjustment challenges

Additionally, we do not guarantee against conditions that may develop later in life, including genetic, environmental, or age-related issues, as these are beyond the control of any breeder.
