Refund & Deposit Policy
At Bobbie Parrots for Sale, we value transparency and clear communication. Because parrots are live animals, deposits, payments, and refunds are handled under specific conditions outlined below. Please read this policy carefully before placing a reservation.
Deposit Requirement
To reserve a parrot, a 35% deposit of the total purchase price is required. This deposit confirms your intent to purchase and removes the parrot from public availability while final arrangements are completed.
Accepted Payment Method
All payments made to Bobbie Parrots for Sale are accepted exclusively via Chime Instant Transfer. This is the only payment method we accept.
We do not accept cash, checks, credit cards, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, cryptocurrency, or any other payment platforms. Buyers must ensure they are able to use Chime Instant Transfer before placing a deposit or completing payment.
Deposit Cancellations & Refund Eligibility
If a buyer decides to cancel their reservation, they must contact us as early as possible. Early notification allows us to review the request and determine whether the deposit refund can be processed.
Deposit refunds may only be considered if the buyer contacts us promptly before shipping, delivery scheduling, or final preparation has begun. Once a parrot has entered final preparation for placement, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
Non-Refundable Situations
The 35% deposit will be non-refundable under the following circumstances:
- Failure to notify us in a timely manner of cancellation
- Change of mind after shipping or delivery arrangements have begun
- Buyer unavailability or lack of communication
- Failure to complete remaining balance within the agreed timeframe
Remaining Balance
The remaining balance must be paid in full via Chime Instant Transfer before shipping, delivery, or pickup is scheduled. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit.
Refunds After Delivery
Due to the nature of live animals, no refunds are offered once a parrot has been shipped, delivered, or picked up. Responsibility for the parrot’s care and health transfers to the buyer upon delivery.
Shipping & Transport Fees
Any shipping, transport, or handling fees are non-refundable once services have been scheduled or completed. These fees are paid to third-party carriers and are outside our control.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Bobbie Parrots for Sale may result in immediate cancellation of services and forfeiture of any deposits or payments made. We encourage open communication to resolve concerns promptly.
Agreement to This Policy
By submitting a deposit or completing payment with Bobbie Parrots for Sale, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Deposit Policy, including the 35% deposit requirement and the use of Chime Instant Transfer as the sole payment method.
